As the coordinating unit for the Sustainability Committee for Narxoz University, the Director of the SKRI Brendan Duprey submitted a draft proposal for a campus wide Sustainable Development Strategy to the Academic Council on Feb. 25th, 2020.
The draft proposal was warmly received by the Committee and was unanimously approved by all members. This Strategy puts Narxoz University as one of the first Universities in Central Asia to develop a comprehensive strategy for addressing the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals campus wide. It also coincides with our campus redevelopment efforts which will transform Narxoz University with its sustainable campus design. The Sustainability Committee is currently working on the Strategies layout and design and will be uploaded onto the main page of the University by the end of April.
