Participation in Erasmus+ academic mobility to Poznan University of Economics and Business

In the period from 8.04.2019 to 12.04.2019 Prof. Sanam Mirzaliyeva, associate professors of Management, participated in academic mobility for teaching on «International competitiveness of the country: on the example of Kazakhstan» in the framework of Erasmus+ program at the partner University — Poznan University of Economics and Business in Poland.  Foreign and Polish undergraduate and graduate students studying International Business showed a keen interest in the topic. At the end of each session, students asked additional questions and were interested in Kazakhstan and the topic of the lecture.

Sanam has also attended a number of meetings with various departments of the partner University (International Department, Research Department, Career Center) and told us that in Poland there is no distance learning, since according to the legislation, students have to attend 80% of their classes, being present in the classroom. However, the individual schedule of attendance for working students is used in PUEB. Students with a high GPA are eligible to apply for such a schedule.

According to the survey, 90% of PUEB graduates are employed.

Sanam also attended lectures of foreign lecturers. Together with her foreign partners she exchanged experience of the methods used in the teaching process.

In general, the academic mobility program was fruitful, as evidenced by the desire of the teachers of the «International Competitiveness of Countries» Department of PUEB to start joint research projects on various topical issues of economic and business development and to attract colleagues from other European universities.
