In the frame of implementation, the idea of a “Civilian Educational Project in Central Asia,” Narxoz University will organize the first meeting called INSIGHT (Inside) Narxoz in Almaty on December 7, 2019.
The university management will present its vision of the development of the university and the educational system. A detailed analysis of the educational and scientific-innovative activities of the university, the achievements of recent years, the main strategic tasks and directions of development will also be presented. The purpose of the event is to attract public attention to the development of the educational sphere in Kazakhstan.
Higher education institutions play an important role in society that goes far beyond than educating of human capital and developing scientific knowledge. Universities are becoming a center for managing social processes, and a powerful resource for economic, political, and spiritual changes.
A special guest of the event is a well-known Russian businessman and venture philanthropist, one of the founders of the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo” and its first president (2006-2011) Ruben Vardanyan. One of the main areas of his work is to support science, educational projects and young talents. The expert will make a presentation on the topic “Migration to the Future,” in which he will talk about the experience of creating and developing the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo” and its role in developing the educational system in Russia.
The annual reporting meeting of INSIGHT will bring together the main stakeholders of the educational sector including the board of directors of the university, representatives of government bodies and the civil sector, media, business partners, alumni, employees and students of the university.
The venue will be the Assembly Hall of Narxoz University (55 Zhandosov St.).
